Come to our farm and enjoy the bumblebees, hummingbirds, and sunshine while making your very own creation, field to vase.
U-Pick hours July until frost:
Tuesdays - Fridays, 9a-12p
Saturdays, 9a-1p
What to bring:
Your favorite clipper (or borrow one of ours)
Your clean bucket to bring flowers home in, or your own vases (or buy vases from us)
We have water available on site.
What to wear:
Wear clothing suitable for a farm. We have wet grass, uneven ground, and sharp clippers.
Sturdy footwear, long pants and a hat for sun and insect protection if you have sensitive skin.
Prices are tiered based on the bouquet size. We accept cash or Venmo for payment. We will often be working in the field alongside you if you have questions.
We were inspired to start our business by a pick-your-own flower farm, and we are excited to have reached the point where we can offer cut-your-own too. We hope your experience in our garden will bless you as it has blessed us!
The farm
Our flowers are grown with organic practices on our central Iowa farm.
Each season brings a new crop of flowers that complements the year.
Spring flowers. Lilac, Tulip, Iris, Dame’s Rocket, Icelandic Poppies, Dasies, Peonies, Sweet Peas, and seasonal surprises.
Summer Flowers. Zinnias, Gladiolus, Bells of Ireland, Snapdragons, Salvia, Ageretum, Ammi Majus, Sunflowers, Amaranthus and more.
Autumn Flowers. Zinnias, Dahlias, Asters, Mums, Kale, Wheat, Millet, Solidago, Broomcorn, Bachelors Buttons, Snapdragons, and seasonal surprises.

Friend’s Flowers are grown on our 3 acre farm South of Story City, Iowa. We offer the best of what each season has to offer without compromising the ecological community around us. Our growing season is May to October, depending on the season. Flowers are offered Farmers Choice - the best of what each season has to offer. Come outside and enjoy our garden.
